For the second year in a row, the Winnipeg Santa Clause Parade has been cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns.
One of the key reasons for the cancellation was that the majority of their audience are under 12 years old and currently not able to be vaccinated.
Organizers plan to replace the parade with some fun holiday activities and surprises. Details will be available closer to the holiday season.
