The Winnipeg Jets have their first opponent for the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs!

The Winnipeg Jets have a relatively short history with the Vegas Golden Knights, as the Golden Knights only joined the NHL as an expansion team in the 2017-2018 season. However, in the short time that these two teams have been playing against each other, they have developed a bit of a rivalry due to their intense playoff series in 2018.

In the 2017-2018 playoffs, the Jets faced the Golden Knights in the Western Conference Finals, which marked the first time that either team had advanced that far in the playoffs. It was a highly anticipated matchup between two teams with strong offensive firepower, and it lived up to the hype.

The Jets took an early series lead by winning the first game, but the Golden Knights rallied to win the next four games in a row, ultimately eliminating the Jets in five games. The series featured several high-scoring games and intense moments, and it left a lasting impression on fans of both teams.

This will be a great rematch to watch! Game 1 is scheduled for Tuesday, April 18 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
