Get ready to relive the magic of the Mushroom Kingdom on the big screen as Garden City Shopping Centre presents a thrilling drive-in movie night featuring the SUPER MARIO BROS. MOVIE!
Mark Saturday, August 26, 2023 on your calendar and make your way to the South parking lot of Garden City Shopping Centre located off of Kingsbury Ave. The gates open at 7:00pm and a ticket must be purchased in advance.
Ticket cost $10 per vehicle (plus a $1.98 Eventbrite fee) and all proceeds will be supporting Funds for Pets, a wonderful organization dedicated to helping furry friends in need.
This cinematic evening promises an unforgettable experience, rain or shine. However, please note that the event schedule is subject to change based on the discretion of Garden City Shopping Centre. Walk-ups and drive-ups unfortunately won’t be allowed, so make sure you purchase a ticket in advance.
Parking and Arrival Details
There will be room for 300 vehicles in the parking area. A dedicated Volunteer team from Funds for Pets will be on hand to guide you to your parking spot, ensuring that everyone has plenty of space to enjoy the show. Please remember that this event is tailored for cars (no buses or RVs). The team will ensure that vehicles are parked with consideration for their size, making every spot a prime viewing location.
Delicious Delights and Movie-Time Eats
Before the screening, you’ll have an opportunity to grab a bite to eat from the food court. With an array of food retailers to choose from, you can indulge in your favorite treats and fill up before the movie begins. Please note that this event has a strict no alcohol and no smoking policy.
Tuning In for the Movie
The movie’s audio will be played through an FM transmitter, ensuring you get the best sound quality possible.
Washroom Facilities
Access to the Food Court bathrooms will be provided, available until 10:00pm.
