Tattoo enthusiasts, art lovers, and anyone looking for a unique weekend event won’t want to miss the 8th Annual Winnipeg Tattoo Convention, returning to Red River Exhibition Park from August 7 to 9, 2026.

The three-day event has become one of Manitoba’s biggest celebrations of tattoo culture, bringing together more than 270 tattoo artists from Winnipeg, across Canada, North America, and around the world. Whether you’re planning to get your first tattoo, add another piece to your collection, or simply admire the incredible artwork, the convention offers something for everyone.

Visitors will have the opportunity to get tattooed by internationally recognized artists throughout the weekend, with many offering walk-up tattoos on a first-come, first-served basis. It’s a rare chance to be tattooed by artists who may not normally visit Manitoba.

Beyond the tattoo booths, attendees can explore a wide variety of attractions including original artwork, unique merchandise, local vendors, live music, a bustling market, beer gardens, food trucks, and a motorcycle showcase. The convention has grown into a full-scale entertainment event that attracts thousands of visitors each year.
