Winnipeg’s iconic revolving restaurant is getting ready to welcome diners once again.
Dos Pampas Skyline Restaurant is set to officially open on Friday, October 9, 2026, bringing dining back to the 30th floor of Fort Garry Place at 83 Garry Street.
Even better for those wanting to experience the restaurant’s return, reservations are now open.
Dining 30 Floors Above Winnipeg
Dos Pampas will occupy the former Prairie 360 space, which has been closed since 2020.
The restaurant is being opened by Winnipeg restaurateur Alfonso Maury, who previously worked as the executive chef at Prairie 360. The new restaurant will feature an Argentinian-inspired menu, with Maury working alongside head chef Norm Pastorin.
The dining room will accommodate approximately 120 guests, while a separate lounge area will give diners a place to enjoy drinks or dessert after their meal.
Dos Pampas Menu Will Feature Argentine-Inspired Dishes
The menu at Dos Pampas will bring a mix of Argentine flavours and locally inspired dishes to the restaurant’s 30th-floor dining room.
Guests can start with some of the restaurant’s hand-crafted empanadas, including beef, bison and prosciutto, roasted chicken, and the classic creamy corn, béchamel and cheese variety.
For something to share, the Artisanal Provoleta features grilled provolone served with grilled vegetables and focaccia, while the Gaucho Chorizo Board pairs Argentine chorizo with grilled vegetables, focaccia, salsa criolla and Dos Pampas chimichurri.
The restaurant will also offer several steaks, including a bone-in ribeye, ribeye cap and New York strip, along with dishes such as venison cutlets, Arctic char, roasted rack of lamb and a Manitoba pork shoulder steak.
House-made ravioli will also be featured, with options including bison and prosciutto as well as smoked salmon and shrimp.
And, of course, Dos Pampas will serve its signature chimichurri, a staple of Argentine cuisine, alongside its empanadas and other dishes.
The Revolving Restaurant Is Coming Back
One of the biggest attractions will be the view.
Located at the top of Fort Garry Place, the restaurant offers panoramic views of downtown Winnipeg and the surrounding city.
The restaurant’s revolving mechanism has been out of operation since the previous restaurant closed. The goal for Dos Pampas is to bring the rotating dining experience back along with the new restaurant.
The space has a long history at the top of Fort Garry Place. It originally opened as the Royal Crown in 1988 before eventually becoming Prairie 360 in 2013.
