The City is warning Winnipeg Transit riders to expect possible service delays and cancellations beginning Monday, November 27, 2023.
The increase in late and canceled buses is due to the Amalgamated Transit Union ( ATU ), the union representing most Transit staff, being in a legal strike position and have said their members will not work overtime. The City is continuing to work with ATU to deal with outstanding issues and reach a settlement as soon as possible.
Passengers should check their schedules before traveling.
