It’s the very first FREE WEEKEND this Saturday and Sunday at the Assiniboine Park Zoo (September 24th and 25th). The FREE Zoo Day was originally offered on Canada Day, but due to overwhelming demand, it was moved to a full weekend in September instead.
“This is a great opportunity with two full days for the community to visit all the incredible animals we have to offer,” said Margaret Redmond, President & CEO of the Assiniboine Park Conservancy. “Autumn is a wonderful time to enjoy the Zoo and we’re looking forward to welcoming everyone this weekend.”
The Zoo is also offering extended hours this weekend and will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
