It turns out that a Convergys employee who was outsourced by ComCast in the US didn’t like the way a young gamer treated him and he proceeded to pull up the ISP account and inform the kid’s father of what was going on.
Long story short, ComCast finds out, tracks the worker down and demands Convergys remove the employee from working on anything related to them.
I must say, as much as I’d want to do this, it’s possibly the stupidest move by a techie. It’s not hard to track down who last accessed an account holder’s information and to use it in this matter is just stupid.
