What is Black Friday? Black Friday is the BUSIEST shopping day of the year in the U.S.A. It happens annually the day after U.S. Thanksgiving (4th Thursday of November) This year Black Friday lands on November 28, 2014. Think of it as Boxing Day on steroids.
One of the biggest advantages of living in Winnipeg is that various U.S. cities are just hours away! Popular shopping destinations include Grand Forks, Fargo, Albertville, and Minneapolis.
Canadian Retailers have also started to jump on the Black Friday wagon. Last year Polo Park, Walmart, Kildonan Place, and various other retailers joined in on the fun and offered some great deals.
