Do you own a telescope at home that just collects dust in your basement? Then make sure to check out a hip new Astronomy Course hosted by The Manitoba Museum at The Planetarium.

The course will be instructed by Mike Jensen (photoed above), who will bring you laughs and excitement while teaching the wonders of the galaxy.

Eyes to the Skies, a six-evening program on the basics of astronomy, will take participants on an in-depth tour of our night sky including constellations, planets, the Moon and much, much more.

The spring session begins on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 and runs six consecutive Wednesdays until May 19 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m..

Registration is only $125 per person ($99 for Museum members) for the full course.

Register by contacting The Manitoba Museum Programs and Registration Coordinator at 988-0626 or emailing
