The province is once again offering FREE entry to all Manitoba provincial parks during the Labour Day long weekend. Park vehicle permits will not be required in provincial parks starting Friday, September 2 through Monday, September 5, 2022.

“The diversity of landscapes and waterways throughout Manitoba’s provincial parks provide a broad range of recreational and relaxing activities to suit any taste,” said Environment, Climate and Parks Minister Jeff Wharton. “This long weekend may mark the start of the transition from summer to fall, but there’s still time to participate in your favourite warm-weather activities and with free provincial park access this weekend, there’s no reason not to.”

Regular camping fees will continue to apply. When visiting parks, remember to practice physical distancing and wash or sanitize hands frequently to protect yourself from COVID-19.

Have a great long weekend Winnipeg!
