Winnipeg is getting another Popeye’s Chicken!
The fast-food chain known for its fried chicken and Louisiana flavours, will be opening its sixth location in Winnipeg. The restaurant will open at the corner of Burrows Avenue and Keewatin Street, bringing another chicken option to the north-west neighborhood.
Popeyes will occupy a new 5,300 square foot building constructed on a previously vacant lot at 385 Keewatin Street and adjacent to the A&W.
One of the key attractions of this new location is its drive-thru, perfect for those in need of a quick and tasty meal on the go. The next closest Popeyes location at 2315-B McPhillips St does not have a drive-thru.
When will Popeyes Chicken on Keewatin Street open?
An opening date has not been announced but construction is already underway. The new restaurant will be a significant investment in the local community, creating job opportunities, and enhancing the neighborhood’s aesthetic appeal.
