Manitoba is getting another natural gas rate increase. The Public Utilities Board (PUB) has approved Centra Gas’s application to increase the current Primary Gas rate from $0.0805/m3 to $0.0839/m3 effective February 1, 2026.


Residential homes in Manitoba use natural gas for equipment such as furnaces, gas stoves, gas fireplaces, and BBQs.

The average residential customer is expected to see an increase of $7/year.
