Brew at the Zoo Returns to Assiniboine Park Zoo on September 11, 2026

Brew at the Zoo is returning this fall, bringing an adults-only night of craft beer, cider, wine, spirits, cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks, live music and games to the Assiniboine Park Zoo.

The popular after-hours event takes place on Friday, September 11, 2026, giving guests the chance to explore the Zoo while sampling drinks from breweries, distilleries, beverage companies and distributors from Manitoba, Canada and around the world.

Premium ticket holders can enter starting at 6:00 p.m., while General Admission begins at 7:00 p.m. The event runs until 10:00 p.m. Along with dozens of beverage samples, Brew at the Zoo will feature a live band, DJ, games and other activities throughout the Zoo.

There are three ticket options available for Brew at the Zoo, including Premium, General Admission and Designated Driver tickets.

• Premium Admission – $85: Includes all beverage samples, early entry at 6:00 p.m., a Brew at the Zoo sample cup and a dinner voucher redeemable at select Zoo locations or food trucks. Premium admission is sponsored by Gather Craft Kitchen & Bar.
• General Admission – $65: Includes all beverage samples, entry beginning at 7:00 p.m. and a Brew at the Zoo sample cup.
• Designated Driver – $30: Includes all non-alcoholic beverages, early entry at 6:00 p.m., a Brew at the Zoo sample cup and a coloured wristband.

Beer, Cider, Wine, Spirits and More

This year’s Brew at the Zoo lineup features a wide variety of breweries and beverage companies, with everything from Manitoba craft beer and cider to spirits, wine, ready-to-drink cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages.

Several exhibitors will also be offering non-alcoholic samples, marked with an asterisk in the list below.

Games, Activities and Live Entertainment

Brew at the Zoo isn’t just about the drinks. Guests can take a break from sampling and enjoy a variety of games and activities throughout the Zoo.

• Challenge friends to giant Connect 4 and Corn Hole.
• Explore the Sensory Table to learn about the grains, hops and spices that influence the taste and aroma of beer.
• Learn how different water conditions can change the final brew.
• Enjoy music from DJ GeNie and Water & Wood.

Brew Awards

Guests will also get a chance to vote for their favourite drinks during the Brew Awards. Voting closes at 9:15 p.m., with the winners announced in the big tent.

Food Trucks and Beer Gardens

Food will be available throughout the Zoo during Brew at the Zoo, with food trucks including Wagyu Wagon, G.G. Gelati, KYU Grill Food Truck, Jojo’s Wood Fire Italian Kitchen and Sol Food Truck.

Beer Gardens will also be available for guests who discover a drink they want to enjoy again after sampling it.

Food is not included with admission, although Premium ticket holders will receive a dinner voucher that can be used at select Zoo locations or participating food trucks.

Adults-Only Event in Winnipeg

Brew at the Zoo is an 18+ adults-only event. Guests are encouraged to drink responsibly and make arrangements to get home safely.

With dozens of exhibitors, beverage samples, live entertainment, games and food options, Brew at the Zoo is set to offer a unique night out in Winnipeg on September 11.
