Winnipeg is getting a brand-new UNIQLO location, and the retailer has revealed all of the details for the grand opening weekend at St. Vital Centre.
The new UNIQLO at St. Vital Centre officially opens its doors on Friday, August 21, 2026, with a full weekend of special events, giveaways, exclusive pricing and more.

For shoppers planning to be among the first through the doors, here are the UNIQLO St. Vital Centre grand opening hours:
- Friday, August 21: 10 AM – 9 PM
- Saturday, August 22: 10 AM – 6 PM
- Sunday, August 23: 11 AM – 6 PM

Customers who place a Ship to Store order from August 10 through August 20 and select the new St. Vital Centre location for pickup will receive a free UNIQLO mug with their order.
Orders placed by August 20 remain eligible for the giveaway regardless of the eventual pickup date.
The offer is available while supplies last and applies to Ship to Store orders indicating pickup at the St. Vital Centre Winnipeg location.
Free Breakfast for the First 300 Customers
One of the biggest opening weekend draws will be a free morning breakfast for the first 300 customers in line each day.
The breakfast will feature exclusive strawberry-matcha crullers from Crumb Queen along with a matcha latte from Maro Matcha.

From August 21 to August 23, shoppers who spend $99 or more before tax in-store at UNIQLO St. Vital Centre will receive a free Blind Box Plush Phone Holder Keychain.
The design is random, with each box containing one item. The giveaway is limited to one per person and available while daily supplies last.
Traditional Japanese Taiko Performance
The grand opening will also feature a traditional Japanese taiko drumming performance by Fukubiki Daiko on Friday, August 21.
Performances are scheduled for:
9:40 AM – 9:50 AM
10:00 AM – 10:05 AM
The performances will give shoppers a taste of Japanese culture as the new Winnipeg location officially opens.
