It has been rumoured for over a year now… but it looks like evidence has finally come up confirming that Winnipeg will be getting its first H&M retail store.
H&M, short for Hennes & Mauritz AB, is a Swedish clothing company, known for its fast fashion clothing offerings for women, men, teenagers and children. H&M has more than 1,800 stores in 34 different countries and employ over 73,000 people.
3 job postings have been made at the H&M website for the following positions:
Store Manager – NEW STORE OPENING! – Winnipeg, MB
Department Manager – NEW STORE OPENING! – Winnipeg, MB
Visual Merchandiser – NEW STORE OPENING! – Winnipeg, MB
This is awesome news. I had the opportunity to shop at H&M when I was at the Mall of America last Summer. They had great selection for reasonable prices.
Though nothing has been made official yet, these job postings were exactly how the Winnipeg Apple Store rumours started, and we all know where that went.
The store is rumoured to be opening at Polo Park Shopping Centre where the dollar store and various other shops used to be (just across the old Safeway/Starbucks)
There currently is construction going on at that location so this could be it!
