Winnipeg is getting its first taste of global-style exclusivity as the upcoming opening of the new Uniqlo location at CF Polo Park on May 15, 2026.

The opening brings a limited-time merchandise lineup created specifically for the city. Around the world, Uniqlo stores often feature location-specific collections, and Winnipeg is joining that tradition with its own set of designs that won’t be available anywhere else.

The new store, opening at CF Polo Park, will debut a special collection of UTme! designs created exclusively for the Winnipeg location. These custom pieces will be available on adult and kids T-shirts as well as tote bags, giving shoppers a range of wearable and everyday items that highlight local culture in a uniquely artistic way.

What makes this release especially notable is its focus on familiar Winnipeg establishments and creative interpretations of the city’s identity. The designs draw inspiration from beloved local institutions including Gunn’s Bakery and Little Sister Coffee Maker, two well-known community staples that have become part of the city’s everyday rhythm. These references turn familiar neighbourhood favourites into wearable artwork, giving visitors and locals a chance to take home something that feels distinctly tied to Winnipeg.

Adding another layer to the collection is original artwork by featured artist Jade Bern. Their illustrations bring a local creative voice into the lineup, blending artistic expression with recognizable city themes for a limited-time offering that emphasizes both place and personality.

As with other Uniqlo flagship and city-specific stores worldwide, these exclusive releases are designed to make each location feel unique. The Winnipeg collection follows that same idea, offering products that can only be found in-store and only for a short window surrounding the launch.

The grand opening of the Uniqlo CF Polo Park location is scheduled for May 15, marking the official debut of the exclusive Winnipeg designs and the start of a new retail destination for the city.
