Will the term “Google it” be a thing of the past? Microsoft hopes so. They will be releasing their re-branded search engine as Bing.com. The code name of Bing was Kumo. I personally like the name Kumo better then Bing but we will see if it grows on me.
Over the last couple months i have had the pleasure of using Bing.com (Kumo) and it is truly a really nice search engine. One nice feature is the background changes day to day and has little mouse over factoids related to the picture. In the picture shown above one little factoid is “Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Summit Mount Everest 1953”
